Donna Ronald Therapy

Counselling for Adults, Young People, Parents and Teens

About Me

As well as being the mum of 3 grown-up kids, I’ve also enjoyed a lengthy career in Social Work, focusing entirely on working alongside children and families in times of crisis.  It seemed like a natural progression to undertake further study in counselling so that I could use my experience and knowledge to help people with what is getting in the way of them thriving. I have a Post Graduate Diploma in Person Centred Counselling & Psychotherapy at Aberdeen Uni.

Helping young people feel safe has always been at the heart of what I do; as well as a career in child protection work, I hold a postgraduate Certificate in Counselling & Psychotherapy for children and young people at Aberdeen Uni.

My experience working alongside children and teenagers has involved offering therapeutic counselling to kids from 10-18 in both primary and academy schools in Aberdeen, and in an Aberdeenshire setting. All the while, I’ve continued working with adults in my private practice from my home in Torphins, Deeside.
